Who we are
The Cultural Association Seminaria Sogninterra was founded in Maranola (LT) in 2011 with the aim of promoting contemporary art in its social function, as a point of rootedness in the territory – of Maranola and beyond – to help renew its positive energies of creativity and sharing.
SEMINARY is
a curatorial group that focuses its research on environmental and relational art in dialogue with the periphery, outside museums and galleries, straight into people’s homes and lives.
SEMINARIA are the approximately 50 artists involved so far, who have challenged themselves in very different dynamics of production, realization and sharing than usual, always and in any case in constant dialogue with the urban and social fabric of Maranola.
But above all, SEMINARIA are the professionals, artisans, volunteers, mothers and grandmothers of Maranola who support the association, adopt artists and open their homes and kitchens to all.
